Medical Wax Anatomy Sculptures French Late 19th Century These fantastic wax heads and leg are life sized, and detailed to the finest extreme. They were used in medical schools and offices as educational aids. We have mounted them on unfinished marble bases, suspended on polished brass rods. One head is skin and brains on one side, and muscles on the opposite side. The other head is skeletal on one side, and muscles on the opposite side. The leg shows both muscles and bones. All pieces are in fine original condition. The heads range from 15 to 17 inches on the stands, while the leg measures 24 inches long, and is 16 inches at the highest point. This is a fantastic collection, and a rare opportunity to acquire such a set in this condition.
