Charming Carousel Pig Figure
American
1950's
What could be more memorable than to jump onto the carousel, and actually secure a ride on one of the unusual "non horse" figures? As most figures were of the equine nature, it was very unusual to find the odd lion, ostrich, or this charming pig figure. Ours is in old, distressed original paint, but is otherwise quite solid. As it is a hollow fiberglass, there is no rotting or breakage common with the earlier wooden animals. The openings for the pole go through the top and bottom sides, and he could be pole mounted, or ceiling mounted with an extended pole ( not included).
