Undoubtedly the finest aquariums makers in America, the Jewel Company of Chicago offered this deluxe model with seahorse legs and dolphin sides in the 1920's. The company was short lived, however, most likely a victim of the Depression. The original aquariums are quite rare and valuable collectibles today. We have cast the parts, and created a very true and detailed re-creation of the original. The seahorse legs, dolphin corners, and decorative beaded trim are all solid bronze. The stretcher frame and table frame are wrought iron, and finished to match the bronze elements. The aquarium is new, and also bronze finished to match. The dolphins are bolted onto a black marble top, decorated by a detailed label from the Jewel Company of Chicago. The finished effect is fantastic (and a lot less than the original may cost!) We can also offer adapted sizes, or the table without the aquarium top.
